The ads bypass ublock and ublock origin now. At least they did for me.

OP, install AdNauseam. It's more geared towards fucking over advertisers, but it has a decent adblocker built in (based on Ublock Origin I think). That got rid of the ads for me.

Youtube Ad Revnue has been going to shit, over the past few times.

But a lot of Youtubers are opening up and using Patreon to collect monthly donations, so I guess that refutes, or counters my claim.
