College is when you have the most free time and energy to actually enjoy being in a relationship. Later in life you don't have much time or energy.

When you're in your late 20s and onwards, how can you even enjoy a relationship? 9 to 5 you're busy and drained of the little energy you do have. After that even if you are in a relationship, you only have a few hours and you're already exhausted. Much more so if you're an introvert and being around people drains you.

And at this age relationships become much less fun. It's all basically a contract. There's not as much "love" or playfulness and innocence. Just 2 adults doing what people do.

Shit, and imagine moving in together, getting married, and then having kids. It just gets worse and worse, more and more effort and energy and time consumed. When the kid comes you're basically a robot. How do people do it? I find laying in bed all day browsing the internet exhausting enough.

Relationships past college are more like a deal/business between 2 people. And most of the time one side gets backstabbed by the other
