Men are at their peak value to young, attractive women when they are young too. Men's testosterone levels and virility are at their peak, their sperm if fresher and they're at their peak in terms of looks. As they age, men lose hair, grow belly fat, get uglier, lose testosterone and energy. Their value as beta providers will increase (since they have more money) but young women will always prefer the younger, more attractive version of them. The only young women middle-aged men are going to get are gold-diggers, sluts and girls with daddy-issues.
