Up until I was 10 we lived in a neighborhood with a lot of kids. So I was always outside playing basketball, football, dodgeball, exploring, girls and boys alike. I was the youngest and would tag along with my older brother(13yo).
Then we moved ot another state.
We moved into a neighborhood with ZERO kids. In addition to this, we went to a church with ZERO kids.
I was surprised this past fathers days when we went to the church that my dad went to when he was growing up in this small country town with 700 people. Girls everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. HS age of course.
It is just amazing how I missed out on so many social opportunities when it really mattered.
