In the first years of school I already showed myself to be a different child from the others. I don't think it's weird, but I was shy and I also wanted to be alone. They made a lot of jokes about me. Only one girl defended me, she asked them to stop, because I am special. I fell in love with her, believed that she liked me, that I was "special" in a positive way.

Later, around the same time, I ended up finding out that she called me special because she considered me mentally ill or something. Like, special child - autistic. It made me very sad at the time and I was also very angry, I believed that a girl liked me. It was my first heartbreak.

Fucking brutal. Did you end up confessing to her or anything? How did she react?

I was very shy. I had two friends, one of them was mute. I would ask the other to go talk to her, asking what she meant by calling me "special", if she liked me or something. She didn't quite understand, really believed I was a retard. Over time this friend of mine got tired of going to talk to the girl.
