The average woman has a celebrity crush while also having a boyfriend. If she ever met this celebrity crush, she would immediately leave her boyfriend for him, and the bf knows it, yet he's ok with it because celebrity crushes are so normalized. So in her mind, this celebrity who doesn't even know she exists is more valuable to her than her boyfriend of 4 years. All of those dates you took her on still don't match up to the existence of this random celebrity who she's never even spoken a word to. It's so brutal when you actually frame it in a logical way, but we all know normies are allergic to logic.
