I wonder how people get caught crossing land borders. Now, I've never tried this, but thinking about it, often, the surface area (line?) of contact between countries are very long, it seems infeasible to have physical walls or guards for every area, especially if the borders has a big ass jungle or mountain ranges between them. Why do they always go for the heavily guarded areas?

the wall is around the whole eastern border of poland. They use cams and sensors for sure in the forests or dogs to find illegal migrants.
They did it back in the days and today it should be easier...
