Have you noticed how many cartoon series who feature male main characters portray them with weird looking traits?

those teeth
Phineas and ferb

triangle

those are the ones I remember

Then there's this one
Tlchargement 3

and of course
Tlchargement 1

the weird trait would be the teeth, but of course it's hybridized so I don't put it in the other list
at last this one, but is not a male character

Tlchargement 2

I was never into anime, I think all of these are western series.

Will cartoons rot your brain @Wizard32

They are caricature of the average ugly kids, in anime main characters are mostly regular schoolboys, average looking and without ugly or weird traits

To make them stand out from regular looking characters

Rotting the brain is a metaphor.

Lack of stimulation (not using your brain) can cause it to degrade, so you want to get stimulating TV.

I think watching non-skippable TV with reused shit tends to stunt you a bit.

For example with shows like PJ Masks which reuse stock footage of the characters transforming, I click the "skip 30 seconds forward" button to get past it and back to the unique footage.
You're going to need to explain to me what's off about Johnny because I'm not really seeing it. He has a relatively normal shape (in cartoon terms) and has blonde hair and blue eyes and he is edgy by spiking it and giving it red flame highlights.

If it's you getting pissed off about the giant head, that's standard for a lot of cartoons so they can emphasize facial expressions without needing to zoom in so much the body can't fit in the panel.

What exactly is supposed to be ugly about Johnny Test or Timmy Turner? Not really seeing it.

They both have recurring love interests FFS

maybe subconsciously it's to make goofy-looking guys think they have chance at admirers

but OTOH maybe we're reading way too much into it

there's nothing off about johnny, I didn't think the hair was died (never heard of that), that's the reason why I put him aside, because he doesn't really look bad but he has a weird trait, his hair, which as far as I know was never explained as died hair, so it seems as it is his natural hair,

I am not by any means pissed by a giant head, but it was constantly being mention by his female pairs and was being brought up all the time (Talking about Jimmy but also happens with Arnold, the female pair is always bring that up in a attempt to piss off the make character)

About Turner the teeth are supposed to be ugly, of course he doesn't really look ugly to us, because that'd be probably not appealing to watch, but again it was constantly brought up as a fact in the program as if there was something wrong with it (not perfect) and who knows (don't remember in what way specifically

the point is that in these specific series I mention, the only character with such a trait is the protagonist, and because of this it is sometimes sneered. Whereas this characters that you show me, have both big heads, which means that it is not a distinctive trait, the same for Timmy turner, he has big head, but it is not his distinctive trait and what he gets mocked for. (because everybody in that series have a big head)

It's just a way of giving main characters easily discernible and memorable traits to set them apart from the rest of the cast and other MCs in there genre.
Pretty much every animated show does this, like you remember sponge bob and his teeth or the whole meme about "guess who the main character is" in anime (especially Shonen) because they usually have oddly colored hair or some other noticeable feature while the background characters don't.

Makes sense
When I made the post I was thinking about this

Now thinking about it, every single future sub 8 will feel identified with the character if he has a shortcomming

That's a broad collection of posts to draw from ngl
While there are many themes from cartoons that show up IRL up until now what was depicted in cartoons it was more of an exaggeration of IRL. Until clown world came around. Hence clown world where reality is as absurd and exaggerated as in cartoons and not what you'd expect to be accustomed to @REBEL2003
A twilight zone expect even more meme like @Emba

Imo watching cartoons and trying to directly apply or relate concepts or characters to the real world can make you see the world in a very exaggerated way and make your view considered more autistic.

I made a mistake (it's the first time I use the quotation tool)
I edited the post

I don't watch cartoons, but children do, and I think they don't rationalize in order to compare to the real world (not at a conscious level) they just absorb
I often found myself imitating some behaviors that just made sense getting from a cartoon ( when I was a child) and also other children around did the same thing if I'm not wrong
Well it may be that nowadays most children are autistic or that it is how children minds work ( if it is so, which I think it could likely be true, then it is an open windows to apply social engineering and stuff
I've seen kids not speaking our jargon and tune but the jargon and tune used in the translation of the TV shows, a lot

Occam's razor would be that he dyes the tips, it's a common enough practice

Helga Pataki calling Arnold Shortman "football head" all the time is sort of complicated by her secretly being in love with him though.

PataKiss

SideOh

I don't think anyone else in HA called him that.

I didn't watch as much JN, what head-related comments did Cynthia make?

I don't know what were the comments but they were mocking comments about his big head.
