At beginning of Last Light she was disgusted by him, she refused to go on missions with him, she mocked him, insulted him and gave him a derogatory nickname Rabbit even despite Artyom nuking the dark ones and literaly saving the whole metro previously. Only after he fully statusmaxxed in Last Light did she "fall in love" with him just like it happes irl in Slavlands.
