Can I watch the cell saga of dragon ball Z without seeing everything else first and still make sense of what’s going on?

I haven’t watched the entire show, I’ve seen bits and pieces. And I haven’t watched the entire cell arc besides the perfect cell vs gohan battle.

Would I be able to make sense of everything that’s going on without seeing everything else first? I wanna watch the cell fights again but this time starting from the beginning of that arc.

Yes you will because you already know what the fuck is going on.

Same happens with the bible in the book of revelations.

You'll be able to put it together, Most normies watched Dragon Ball Z before watching Dragon ball and they could easily piece it together and a lot of normies are fucking retarded so you'll probably be able to piece it together.

Yes, because stupid Akira Toriyama was a horrible writer with no sense of continuity. The zenkai boost that was in earlier seasons disappears in the cell arc. You can honestly just piece through the past by what they say. You really don't need to watch the saiyan arc or the freeza arc to be able to follow along.

Probably yes, DBZ isn't that complex

frieza / cell / buu saga are basically the same. the same shit continues in super. its always the same story villain tries to destroy the world. cell saga was the weakest arc by far. start of dbz was actually the best because it was more brutal overall. later in the series characters became invulnerable.

You won't know who the Red Ribbon army is or why they don't like the main characters without watching Dragon Ball (not Z), but that's about it when it comes to important stuff you won't be able to figure out on your own.

Yes you can. Cell saga is pretty disconnected from the namek and saiayan saga which are more intertwined. Just know what a super Saiyan is and you are good to go.

not really, its a build up.

think you should start at the saiyan saga, gives you a introduction to several key characters.

You are really doing yourself a disservice by depriving yourself of Frieza, the best villain in all of DB.

Buu saga is better kek

So you skipped Saiyan and Frieza saga? That's a big mistake.
