What confuses me is that my understanding of birth control is that it is in itself a method of population control; maybe what he was trying to get at was that many nations outside of the West do not practice birth control or abortions, so you get an unnatural inequality of births and deaths between different ethnicities, races, religions and nations (white birthrates are falling, ethnic birthrates are rising).
