I work as a welder. Used to be night shift janitor. Also did night shift security guard, night shift factory worker, and delivery driver.

In welding, you are under a hood and you hear sizzling a lot. Good luck trying to talk too much when working. You won't get anything done. I also am cooped up in a welding booth by myself. So not really interacting with coworkers much. Only when supervisor tells me what to weld or when I ask help. That's it. Many days, I don't interact with anyone at all.

But make sure to weigh in things like pay, benefits, work commute, job convenience, etc. and then decide from there.
