My eyes are dark brown bordering on black; I'm prescribed glasses but it's not that serious (my vision is just fine without them), and I literally have to squint my eyes in the presence of harsh sunlight or strong wind if I didn't sleep well the night before. The effect of eye color on vision is overstated to hell and back. The halo provided by light eyes more than makes up for whatever miniscule disadvantages they cause for seeing in high-light environments
