so im an intern at a software company, and we are currently developing a dating app.

so one of the designers made a fake tinder account for some inspiration. i saw he had just 1 image of some chad in a suit, probably a model.

so he started swiping a little and he would literally match with every 2-3 girls he swiped on. and this was just the girls who had already swiped yes to him, some of the girls he swiped yes to probably havent seen him yet.

i highly doubt he spent any time what so ever writing a "funny and interesting bio" he probably wouldt need to jestermaxx to get any girls to meet him.

remember when you swipe on 1000 girls and get no matches, chads just swipes a few times and already has several matches.
it is completely and utterly over.

Unironically, it would be better if you had some sort of system that, the more popular a guy is, the less he shows. Hypergamy IMO is unprofitable for dating apps, so you should take steps to reduce it, and offer a more equitable experience.

Think about it this way, if you reduce hypergamy it's MORE profitable:

John gets 50 matches, he buys premium to view the matches.

Bob also gets 50 matches, he buys premium to view the matches. Total 2 subscriptions.

If you don't take measures to reduce hypergamy:

John gets +100 matches, does NOT buy premium because it's so easy for him already.

Bob gets 1 match, it's a tranny. Bob deletes the App.
