Girlfriend Bear: The Blackening is a horrible movie. It takes an IP known for brotherhood and male friendship and makes it about some shit drama of whom will get the girl, Kenai or the random robust HTN option. It also introduces blacks to the IP with some celebrity I don't exactly remember voicing some obnoxious matchmaker character.
The songs are inferior to the first ones which had a score by Phil Collins. They're bland and I couldn't remember a single note progression if you had a gun to my head.
It's also bluepilled af. Kenai, the MC, loses to the random robust HTN in a physical altercation and the girl chooses the protagonist at the end instead of getting with the victor. Spoiler warning I guess, idk I fucking hate this flick.
Overall, 1/10, the single point owing to the Western 2D animation. This film is not suitable for any audiences.
