It was a hypersonic missile.(Though, an older version supplied by iran) Hypersonic missiles are basically, extremely fast and accurate. The Houthis even released a video of them launching it. It's almost impossible to shoot down hypersonic missiles, even America doesn't have them(it's still not operational) only Iran and Russia.
