So I am planning on watching both BB+BCS again. However, the idea I have is watching BCS first & then BB since you can do it that way.

Thots?

I don't like BCS because they've retconned Gustavo into a faggot avenging his other faggot bf. They turned a "i'm avenging my best friend/brother" plot into a "i'm avenging my gay boyfriend that those evil homophobes killed him :soy: ". :feelspuke:

Also it's interesting that this retcon happened right when everything turned woke. :feelsjuice:

Yeah I disliked that also, but other than that, it's still a solid imo.

Better Caul Saul was literally the most boring show ever. I can't believe I kept watching it. Literally nothing happens. Like it was 4 or 5 seasons of him trying to make an a law office with some foid. I don't even remember which season I left off at but he still wasn't even called "Saul" at that point.

Feel free to completely skip BCS entirely. There's no point in watching it.

I also did like first parts of BCS, but idk after that scene where they turned Gustavo gay, it just became unwatchable. Especially since I was a Gustavo fan. I used to think he was this cool "master genius" cartel leader that had a deeper goal than to make money by avenging his bro. Now it was just ruined by making it canonically that he took it in the ass. :feelskek:

Ngl, I did think Gus Fring was presented as a closeted homo in BB when I first saw the episode of his business partner going to Don Eladio's estate for the business meeting.

To me it didn't seem that way. If I remember correctly wasn't it established that they were brothers? By adoption I mean.

I don't remember, the show was years ago.

Yeah true, even before BCS I heard fans had theories he was possibly gay. And honestly, I re-watched a bit of that scene in a clip-compilation(deaths) and Gus' reaction wasn't really a shock of "oh my god what a bastard he killed my business partner in cold blood" but more of one seeing a love-interest dead.

Gus was interesting, but I always found Mike, Saul, and Walt to be more relatable.

I think that was some sort of cover they came up with for the original chicken place they started in Mexico.

Nah I liked it, but yes the start is a bit slow.

I like how they covered Mike also, and I wish they spent a bit more time covering the time as Saul before he meets Walt & more time during BB.

But even then, it wasn't established that they were screwing each other. That shit became a thing on april 2022 when season 6 came out. And let's keep in mind that shit got woke ever since 2018. So it wouldn't be a stretch it was done for political reasons.

Well they both came from Chile. So prob the white guy got adopted into Gustavo's family. I mean it's just weird they have to mention that they are brothers to cover up the fact they liked it in the ass. They could have just said they are business partners and that would have been enough.

I actually did that, it was pretty good—you should do it.

Even though BCS takes place before Breaking Bad, I'd still recommend watching BRBA first. A lot of the charm of bcs is learning the character's origins and seeing them in their younger years. There were a few times when I liked bcs better and anyone who says bcs is boring has a short attention span and got filtered

no I've seen them both before so I sort of recall, but I think I'll watch BCS first

maybe we could watch a few episodes over a bowl :smonk:
Jfl, seeing Saul(Jimmy) at Cinnabon makes me want some

Kills me kinda to see him like that :feelsbadman:

Timeline wise it makes sense to do that
