Venting boss fired guy at my work

He started there just a few weeks before me. He's probably more competent than me but he always showed that he didn't really give a shit about the job and I didn't show it. He never really even slacked off or anything just missed a lot of days and on his phone a lot. Perfect example of appearance mattering over content. fairness doesn't exist in this world. communication is broken. Boss joked about "im next" right after he fired him. I just hope I can perform well enough for mr shekelstein to keep me around
