There was a time when I actually felt bad for boogie. I know that the guy had a rough life growing up, especially with getting bullied in school and having a psychotic abusive mother that beat the shit out of him (well beyond the point of acceptable discipline).

But a man can only be so much of a pushover before I lose any ounce of respect I have for them, and boogie has long since crossed that line. It was the vidcon 2017 incident that made me completely lose respect for him. For those not aware, Anita Sarkeesian and boogie (along with a few other people) were hosting a panel talking about online harassment and boogie made a really tame closing statement that was something along the lines of "I don't think people should leave here angry". Anita angrily confronted boogie and cussed him out and boogie didn't just stand there and take it, he profusely apologized, groveled, and told her what a fan of Feminist Frequency he was.

Now I don't expect a guy to talk back to a woman in that situation, especially not a woman like Anita who has immense social power and could have easily ruined his life. But in the very least he could have just walked away.

So boogie has a long history of being a pushover, especially when it comes to women. Hard to respect any man like that, especially one as old as he is.
