1. The United States of America and other countries made it ILLEGAL TO BE UGLY IN PUBLIC ( )
Between 1867 and 1974, various cities of the United States had unsightly ordinances (also included beggars), in retrospect also dubbed ugly laws. For instance, in San Francisco a law of 1867 deemed it illegal for "any person, who is diseased, maimed, mutilated or deformed in any way, so as to be an unsightly or disgusting object, to expose himself or herself to public view. In this era to be "deformed or mutilated" also included people with "unfavorable" faces and body shapes. (So this isn't only about burn victims, severe tumors. This is also about people who looked ugly or funny. Proof of the definition of "deformed" will be provided via link click the spoiler)
2. The Catholic Church is responsible for the severe prioritization of Face vs all traits in most cultures and Countries
From the 6th to 16th centuries, Church authorities taught that intercourse should be face-to-face, man-on-top, primarily because they believed that semen flows with gravity, leading to conception. Numerous sources have reported that in the US, some states had outlawed positions other than missionary between husband and wife, or will grant a divorce to a woman whose husband makes love to her in another position. Many states formerly outlawed oral sex, anal sex, buggery, or other "unnatural" acts. Their initial purpose was to eliminate all other traits that made sex special; these traits were deemed "animal like" in nature. The over bearing incentive to find a suitor with a good face was pushed. Faces with too much asymmetry or estrogen (in males) looks deformed to the brain.

Forty participants (20 male) had 3-minute conversations with trained male and female communication partners in a repeated-measures, within-subject design. Eighty 3-minute conversations were transcribed and coded for dependent clauses, fillers, tag questions, intensive adverbs, negations, hedges, personal pronouns, self-references, justifiers, and interruptions. Results suggest no significant changes in language based on speaker gender. However, when speaking with a female, participants interrupted more and used more dependent clauses than when speaking with a male. There was no significant interaction to suggest that the language differences based on communication partner was specific to one gender group. These results are discussed in context of previous research, communication accommodation theory, and general process model for gendered language. The Attractiveness of the Male comes into play when paired with another study/analysis that shows more attractive people are easier to talk to/less awkward/funnier. There is less brain fatigue. A rollicking laugh fires up and then cools down your stress response, and it can increase and then decrease your heart rate and blood pressure. The result? A good, relaxed feeling. Soothe tension.

Leaked TikTok Moderation guidelines show the app prevented "ugly facial looks" and videos shot in "slums" or "dilapidated housing" from reaching anyone's recommended feed. In-fact dating apps such as Tinder use algorithms to match people it thinks are equally attractive, while social media platforms including TikTok have deployed them to promote content by good-looking people. The algorithms are typically trained on thousands of photos that have been manually tagged with attractiveness scores, often by university students. As beauty standards can vary between countries and cultures, their perceptions can be embedded in the algorithms. They deem "white, pretty, and popular" as viral-worthy
5.Speaking To Women Lowers Your IQ
Professors asked research participants to engage in conversations about neutral topics. The students were randomly assigned to interact with either a same-sex or opposite-sex partner. Cognitive performance was assessed both before and after the interactions using demanding working memory and attention tasks. Men’s performance on these tasks declined significantly after interacting with a woman (relative to the same-sex condition), and even more so after interacting with an attractive woman. Women’s cognitive performance stayed consistent regardless of whether they interacted with a same or other sex individual—and regardless of the attractiveness of the other individual. More recent research suggests that even just anticipating interacting with a woman whose physical attractiveness is unknown can impair men’s cognitive performance.

WHAT DEFORMED MEANT IN THE 19TH CENTURY: The City Beautiful movement, an urban reform philosophy based on the idea that cities should be as aesthetically pristine as possible, was at its peak at the same time that ugly laws were being passed. It, too, was a response to the influx of immigrants, veterans, and newly freed slaves in many American cities (Back then not being an Anglo Saxon, or WASP/ARYAN. Meant you were ugly but also whites with any type of deformity like "an eye that droops too much" was also not allowed, its ethos blended well with that of urban charitable organizations. Together, they sought to produce a particular kind of city environment: one purportedly devoted to its own betterment and beautification where the poor and other unfortunates could rely on (some) benevolent support. But the emphasis on beauty and benevolence belied the true effect (and perhaps purpose) of these initiatives, which was to define the ideal citizen
