A support system
In our society, it is considered unacceptable for males to show any kind of weakness. When males open up about their feelings, they get told to "man up!" and "stop whining!" while when females open up about their feelings, they receive actual support.
I have seen females complain on social media about how "all men are fuccbois" and have lots agreeing with them, comments ranging from things like "damn straight!" and "He doesn't deserve you!" Meanwhile, if a male said something similar he'd be branded as a "neckbeard"

Notice how many desperate, thirsty males there are while such females don't exist? Seriously, I have seen posters on forums simply announce that they are female and get attention. Why do you think Ewhoring exists?
The very fact that the PUA industry exists is proof of this. Lots of males have absolutely no clue about getting girlfriend/sex, they are so desperate that they'd actually pay some scammer their own money in the hopes it would improve their situation.
