Are you seriously implying Zelensky is the one who decides if ATACMS gets used on Russian territory or not? Ukraine doesn't own satellites up in space which they can use to aim ATACMS missiles with, the US does. The only reason ATACMS gets used in Donbass is because the US provides them targeting data.

How will Putin even retaliate against this without looking like a wimp? Nukes wouldn't help because that would EXCEED this rung of escalation, which Putin clearly doesn't want since that would bring WW3. He has to MATCH this somehow. Russia has already begun sabotaging underwater cables in the Baltic sea but I don't think that's enough because that doesn't directly affect the AFU or NATO's ability to supply Ukraine.

Instead of concentrating on the least protected parts of Ukraine in Sumy region, they're attacking the strongest AFU units in Donbas for almost 3 years, where fortifications have been built since 2014.
Don't forget the backstage arrangements to leave northern Ukraine, Kherson region, Kharkiv region.
It's just a controlled slaughter of goyim without any purpose to win.
