GPU decided to die ,looking for a decent prebuilt from Europe.
Not the best time to buy due to GPU prices, but I kind of dont want to wait another year to get a pc.
Best option was to just buy a GPU since thats the only part thats broken. Another option is to configure the cheapest possible build with a GPU and just use that GPU in my current build.
Anyone else bought a prebuilt or has any experience with buying prebuilts? I just need some guidance and which retailer is best. Heard some really bad stuff about some retailers (bad PSU, awful tech support ,void warranty)

Help a brocel out

bumping my own thread:dab::dab:

Check out DigitaI storm. I have one of there PCs and laptops.
Great machines.

thanks bro,I will check em out:feelsautistic:

PC and a laptop?
damn you must be really happy with them
Loved the lynx.
bought the laptop before I bought my own truck to keep myself occupied. Runs 99% of my steam library no issues.
Now I carry both in the truck with me.

why do you want to buy a prebuilt instead of buying your own parts and building your own pc :feelswhat:

nice,congrats on the truck:forcedsmile:
are you from the US?

GPU cost almost as much as a prebuilt.
I already have a PC that I built myself but its now pretty old and it was pretty budget to begin with.
So I either get a whole prebuilt,or use a configurator to make a shitty pc to get the GPU from it.
Problem is I dont trust most of the suppliers because they dont list what auxiliary parts they use(PSU,RAM,even the case sometimes)

I stay out months at a time.
Left at beginning of may not planning on going back home until august or September
Hated living in a company truck but love living in mine.
living the punch clock life just to go back home to the room I’ve had since I was a kid was worse truck life is best life.

I know how to,its just that GPU are overpriced not worth buying on their own
A better alternative is a prebuilt
Building your own PC isn't like it used to be, now a prebuilt costs the same as buying your own parts.

So unless you enjoy it no need to build your own, just pic parts online and order it.
correct
but i have no idea where to buy it from,I know where to buy parts from but not where to buy a whole prebuilt PC:feelsseriously::feelsseriously:

bro it takes under 1hr to build a pc lol

I know you guys like being smartasses, but maybe he doesn't want to bother with building it himself. Besides, building prebuilt PC is actually cheaper these days than being overpriced parts.
Questions
How is building a "pre-built pc different from building a regular one? What even is prebuilt?

Why would a prebuilt with same specs and equipment be cheaper.

coin miners are rapeing GPU prices still, so a prebuilt is probably the better option as of now.

When separate parts are priced double or triple the MSRP because of scalpers then buying a pre-built PC is cheaper. Why? While you and I have to pay 1500 for a certain graphics card in today's market, companies like HP pay like 600 for the same graphics card. Companies like Dell work with low profit margins, you do the math and you actually pay less.
Oh. So its the whole scalper business. Instead of just selling as much as they can to whoever companies should make sure they are selling to consumers. Or this artificial scarcity will hurt their business in the long run.

Wonder if I should get a prebuilt for gaming.

I bought a 4200 € PC at PcSpecialist (in UK) and it's a very good thing. You can craft any kind of PC with 10 hard disks drives etc. Assembly costs 50 € only.

However it was before the Brexit so now you'll pay a huge customs tax.

Isn't letsbld good? On r/battlestations all I see are nzxt cases.

u purchase a whole setup becuase your gpu dies. why dont u see the used market

Is Alienware still a shitty PC-maker these days?

I wanted 64 Gb of RAM :feelzez:

Customs taxes depend on the country you live in, but here in France you pay those taxes if you purchase non-european goods for more than 150€ in value.

For example, for a this computer bought in the UK after the Brexit, the VAT is 20% of the value (882€), the customs tax is 210€, and the parcel dispatch tax is 21€. Which makes 1108€ to pay to import such a good :feelsbadman:

Before the Brexit it was 0€.

Prebuilds are the way to go nowadays. Building your own pc used to be cheaper but not anymore because its so hard to get parts.

I don't know about EU but here in the US, Cyberpower PC is pretty much the best bang for the buck and the quality is not too bad. If you want higher quality prebuilds try other companies.

Really good laptop for the money.
Only complaint is it gets hot as fuck.

I greatly agree with this. Those suckers buy all the GPUs and their prices skyrocket. I paid my GPU alone 1300€. And nowadays it's impossible to find any 3090 under 2400€. Just because those fuckers mine cryptos with GPU farms.

build you're own pc prebuilts are cucked

wait till you can build a pc
thats cucked
1-2 year waiting
u purchase a whole setup becuase your gpu dies. why dont u see the used market
any GPU that can turn a profit with mining is overpriced
GTX 1060 which is already a 5 year old card is going for almost retail at launch price
better to dish out all of the money now and get an adequate product than buying a GPU thats will be on its last legs in a year

Wait a few more weeks

even if bitcoin goes to 0$ magically gpu prices (atleast new) wont go down
Chip shortage
it crashed 2 weeks ago
GPU price will absolutely go down. Shortage is due to retards buying all the gpus in hopes to mine some shitcoins and make money. If mining becomes worthless gamers will rise again.
