Being Chad is lame. Automatically receiving validation from women (and men) no matter what you do, coasting through life while barely putting in any effort. Usually this results in Chads having very generic interests like football and partying, and working at whatever company pays him the most because he is adored and promoted no matter what he does, so he never develops higher pursuits. It's like playing a game on easy mode, there's no fun in it.
I would much rather be a normie (that is, average face and personality). Virtually all normies end up having a girlfriend and healthy social life by the end of high school. Afterwards they have mixed results. The ones who go with the generic life path of wageslaving and dating/marrying whichever roastie they come across often end up unhappy because their life is meaningless and they get divorce raped or in a dead marriage. Though many of them still luck out and marry a mentally stable and committed woman. However increasingly they rely on dating apps or cold approaching to meet women, which is such a terrible strategy they end up crypto-incel.
However if a normalfag is smart there are many strategies to finding a decent woman. Mainly it means putting themselves in a unique environment where they can let their traits other than looks pick up the slack, and being around the same women all the time so they develop an emotional connection. For example, joining a band, working at an animal shelter, becoming a nurse, living in a commune, etc. Even something as simple as joining a book club and talking to the same foids about Shakespeare or whatever until they become intimate.
There are just endless ways to become acquainted with women IRL, to become interesting enough to stand out among other men. It takes hard work and dedication and strategizing, but the effort actually drives results. This is because normalfags have the genetic baseline for attraction, which gives them enough leeway to attract women with their other qualities. Not to mention looksmaxxing is the most effective for normies. This to me is ideal since the good life is not a given as with Chads, it's a succulent reward that must be well earned.
But as we all know, if one is below average in looks then no matter how much effort is put in it can never achieve near the same results. Unless a miracle happens and you meet a woman who is truly able to see past your looks and appreciate your inner beauty. Sometimes I think I found a woman like this, but it always results in being friendzoned (yes I am grateful I'm not so ugly that some women are at least willing to be my friend, almost always older women though).
