They say that if your needy girls wont like you. 
Implying that if said guy wasnt needy, girls would like him.

Its not how it works.

If the girl is NOT attracted to you, and you try to hit on her , you will be considered needy. But even if you dont hit on her, it wont make her like you magically. 

If the girl likes you whatever you do she'll like it.

You can only be needy with a girl who isnt attracted to you in the first place, and not being needy wouldnt change a thing.

" Being needy " = The girl is not attracted to you. Period.
