If you haven't got sex and women "out of your system", your brain will become fixated on it and make you unable to enjoy virtual copes like videogames. I've been unable to thoroughly enjoy vidya since I turned 21. I've even wasted money on a useless GTX Titan. Everytime I fire up a PC to play games I am overwhelmed by the feeling that it's all a gigantic waste of time.

True, I only play vidya to kill time these days, I spend my day playing on CS:GO surf servers, listening to music and contemplating my inceldom because I have nothing better to do.
 
Yup. I wish I could get rid of my sex drive tbh. I think it'd help a lot.
 
I have been thinking about this lately. I desperately want to play my favorite MMORPG, but this incel situation keeps me from enjoying it. If I could have a female partner to play it with, I would be over the fucking moon. Thank god this site exists so we have an outlet. I need the world to see the horrors. Or at least for the world to know that I know about it.

I can still play and enjoy games to some extent, just not as much as I used to though.
 
I think videogames and every cope like it is like smoking cannabis....it's great in the beginning but then you build up a tolerance to the point where flower doesn't even get you high anymore. I usually move on to something else and then come back to my copes after an extended break.

I agree, it's probably a waste of time, but so is anything else not related to earning more $$$ or otherwise improving your life situation. However, recreation IS important...working all the fucking time can be as bad on your health as gaming 25/8, just in a different sort of way.

So true. Normies ruin everything. When it's not cool, they shun and mock, but when it becomes hip they praise and flock. Since they are usually stupid, corporations reduce the quality and find more ways to get money out of them. Mircro Transactions and loot boxes. I hate Fortnite!

Strangely, I am still able to enjoy books and movies. Perhaps because of lesser guilt about wasting time. Videogames are the bigger timesink by an order of magnitude.

This, too. I enjoy games mostly for the story and atmosphere, not for stupid challenges like killing as many people as possible, and it has become exceedingly rare for me to find an interesting game. It's not the primary factor in my lack of ability to play, though. I am psychologically unable to enjoy unhealthy timesinks. Sitting for long periods is horrendous for your health. I will give a new shot at VR perhaps. I was disappointed by my Oculus (too much SDE), but the new headsets look better.

This! When I was in 6th grade (2005), I was mocked for being a Star Wars fan. When I grew up, i lost interest in Star Wars, especially the shitty new ones. Yet, that's when Star Wars went mainstream! So fucked

Yeah i remember not talking about games since it was considered a beta nerd hobby by most people. And now those same fuckers continue to take it up the ass from corporations by preordering their shit-tier games and ordering season passes. Fortnite and all the other battle royale games are pure garbage.

Same for Elder Scrolls. I dread seeing the final TES:6. The setting will be Redguard land, so you already know it's aimed at political correctness and black inclusion. There's 75% chance it will be a terrible,low-effort game, even worse than Skyrim.

I only play videogames in a mind-numbing state while listening to something else.

If I really dedicate myself to playing, especially with online games, I also get overwhelmed by those "waste of time" feelings.
 
I sometimes play new games, but they have to be high IQ otherwise I can't find the effort anymore. I enjoyed Subnautica because it was peaceful exploring and nice and chill, but also quite intense when going deep.

I play Dwarf Fortress atm because its a good game for people with autism.

I tried to play the new monster hunter and was completely overwhelmed and quit after 10 minutes.
 
everything is a waste of time in the long run, world of warcraft is just a good time killer for when im not working.
 
If you have time to think bout foids, then the video game you’re playing is clearly not competitive enough. Try playing Dota or CSGO at a high level, so frustrating you won’t have the emotional capacity to think bout foids or how shit your life is. Best cope is to distract

I always have months of being burnt out from playing games but then suddenly i start getting really into one or the same one and this has gone on for a couple of years.
 
i hope that doesnt happen to me. vidya is the only fucking thing i have left. its the only thing thats been keeping me sane this decade.
 
I still find vidya fun. I have several vns I still need to play if I ever get a PS VITA. As well as JRPGs. Currently fixated on anime fighters which are a good cope, UNIST and blazblue crosstag battle are the ones I play.
 
Video games are one of the only things I still enjoy... I guess it's not the same for everyone.

Battle Royale is literally the worst genre of gaming since ever. hell I'd rather be caught playing Rapelay instead one of those games.

I stick mainly with overhead RPGs, RTS games, some driving/mayhem/gun games, and Grand Strategy. occasional old FPS ending with the STALKER series.

Nope. It's just that the games are trash nowadays. I tried playing some older games and I can actually play them and get addicted to gaming again.

Don't buy new AAA Games because they are all shit. Also stick to single player, mostly RPG, sandbox, etc. And if Multiplayer I recommend fighting games over shooters (csgo is aight if you are good).

I'm really looking forward to playing the whole MGS Series right now and older fallout games afterwards.
 
Mostly true, that is until my autism kicks in, and I spend 6 hours optimizing my feral druid in wow. My night flies by when that happens, and nothing else is on my mind.
