Blackpill Being Close Minded - A Sign of Old Age?

there is a concept that goes through my head recently, and its freighting.
it seems like the older you get, the smaller your life become. old people HATE new ideas,new concepts and new music. they basically avoid anything that's new or mind provoking. they become recluse, and their hobbies are lowered to morning walks and gardening.
this is highly concerning, am i on the path of becoming like this? are we all?
why do we even save for retirement? you are basically not human at old age.

Wanted to write something along these lines in your babyboomer thread. There are actually studies about this phenomenom. It's damn scary, how this leads to political sabotage as well, burning the bridges behind them etc.. Sometimes I think they should just ban them from voting...

One of my biggest fears also on a personal level. I was always curios af and open minded. I feel I already slowly but steady become like my grandparents at 25. Just let's hope they find a cure for this before we totally are at that point and not only for the rich

well, during most of its history, humans have died when they were in their 40ies. Having all of these people alive that are 60 and 70 is a bit f a biological anomaly. Maybe everything that happens after 35 is to be seen as a bonus and evolution didn't really bother making us very fit after that?

I feel like the way most people look at and go through life is entirely backwards. Makes me want to punch something even more when I think about how much I missed out on being a teenager, or even a child for that matter(fucked up parenting).

Just look at breeders, spending decades preparing for their death in a biologically induced plan for ill-conceived immortality.
