I've been looking for a year, got about 3 interviews but none of them went anywhere, not because I did badly in the interviews, usually just getting subbed by people who applied but had more experience. Everything else is just instant rejections.

I don't actually know how you get a job without experience, it seems no matter where you apply you'll just immediately get beaten out by someone who's done the job before, even for entry level shit.

Yes it is, everything requires a ton of experience, and all positions are listed as "senior". It's such a joke that it's gotten to a point where you have to be the top 30-50% of your craft otherwise they'd rather leave the position vacant.

Boomers are so lucky, they literally could be a janitor and buy a house, go on vacation 3 times a year, raise 4 kids, and then buy a cottage and boat if they wanted as well. (((The global workforce))) ruined that.
