Serious Been given a hard time about how I’m not inspired and about my screen time. Told I don’t do anything and don’t want to. It’s all

true. what’s wrong with me or am I just a lazy piece of shit. I think the latter really. Why am I not inspired to do anything at all, and why am I a virgin at 21 (I know why and that’s my fault and a slap in the face to those less fortunate than me). Mums worried for me not having a life, my dad too and I have no guts to make them feel better and live my life, or do anything I should do at this age. Any thoughts or hate comments I understand them and that’s ok to hate me. Thanks.

I think motivation directly correlates to what you really like. Boredom and "laziness" mean that you aren't doing what you really like.

There could be various reasons for that. Maybe your shame makes you see yourself as "wrong," and then subconsciously you deny your preferences in order to be considered "right" by others. It just ends in you being used.

It could be that you got so used to not doing what you like that you completely forgot how it is to do what you love. Sometimes it might be that you just "don't know" yet, which I call BS, because as a kid you usually just do things that you are naturally inclined to do it.

The reasons are many. I can't help you figure it out, but I understand that sometimes it's just hard to do what you like because you might be seen as "selfish" or you think what you like is bad.

It can also be that you are so used to feeling like shit that any positive feelings just scare you away because of how "unfamiliar" they feel.

Well none of my parents (including my biological father who I don’t see) got to willingly live like I do, a lazy online student at home who is extremely fortunate and is pathetically a waste of space for the shit he has done and hasn’t done.

What you said makes sense and I appreciate you writing it, well I’m going to have to do things this year that will end up changing me and hopefully I change with them.

whats the point in trying anymore
