It's easier to make good jokes from popular/well known or culturally significant things

i think their writers are too old for it but the internet is rife with popular topics that a south park that began in the mid 2015s could be acclaimed for mocking intelligently
ipad babies, social justice warriors, 4chan, onlyfans, mgtow, boomers on facebook, instagram comedy, lolcows, hatewatch youtubers like nicocado avocado, mrbeast type videos, egotistical kiddy entertainers like when you see those '5 different colour slime!' videoswith a billion views. many of them are lamborghini bros who snort cocaine
they have done some internet stuff but it reeked of not knowing what they were talking about, and were not done intelligently
a modern south park would be amazing.
but trey and matt are too old to know how to spot comic quality in younger writers, and are likely aware of this and so won't do it. if they tried to hire younger writers they would probably end up with someone who thinks instagram comedy is funny
i think they should get Matan Even and it would work well
