Basically a mentally ill Russian guy shot two roasties when they were on a picnic and was convicted. I found his note of confession funny, so here it is (with omissions):
"During the round-trip examination two targets were located that met the requirements of the retribution program. This program is to conduct various manipulations with the damage I sustained for optimization (minimization) of the afore said damage. [ I ] have been carrying the program since 1997. The program is all mine, I had no instruction on it. All damage received takes form of accumulation -- I don't know how to explain.
I commited the murder of two women with the aim of "withdrawal" of the "lethal damage". [In school] I was consigned to a class for people with developmental delays. There I was bullied, which caused the damage, of that I was obliged to get rid of as a result. I had a memory buffer with which to keep record of the received damage.
From the 1st to the 9th grade of school №102 there took place multiple instances of bullying during breaks. They beat me in the corner, kicked, punched, insulted me. There was a case when one of my classmates decided to beat money out of me, a large sum. He demanded that I borrow money from my neighbours. They tried to coerce my friend classmate as well, where I was supposed to be a mediator.
As a result of this, since about the year of 1997 I designed a memory buffer for myself. When I was questioned as a suspect I called it CTSB -- Central Temporary Storage Buffer. In this buffer I accumulated negative emotions -- "damage", which was later converted to "lethal damage". For example, a hundred punches in the face were to be converted to 1 lethal damage. Without the buffer I'm as good as dead.
[ I had ] options. Number one: to die myself. And I should have gone for it, but I promised myself that someone would die in my place. Number two: the "retaliation", that is getting back at the offenders. If I had a gun at that time, something would have happened in school. And number three: the "withdrawal" to others, not the offenders.
While I was studying in college where I also was bullied by my classmates, my buffer accumulated four lethal damages. After the murder of two women only two left, but I wouldn't be able to kill anyone, which I realized afterwards."
He then brutally concludes:
"My theory about lethal damage was fatally flawed. I admit that I was in error. I should have been in their place."
A couple questions from the judge just to add some flavor:
-- Wasn't there any other way to neutralize your "damages"?
-- You have to understand, I cried every day when I was in school. Every school has children that get bullied.
-- Why didn't you take some therapy to neutralize your "damages"?
-- I should have told the therapist about it so he would intervene. But I didn't.
