Seven Australia-based women are planning to sue the government of Qatar for being forced into invasive gynaecological examinations at Doha’s international airport last year, their lawyer has said.

One of the lawyer’s clients, who declined to be named, told the BBC that she was “subjected to the most horrifically invasive physical exam”.

“I was certain that I was either going to be killed by one of the many men that had a gun, or that my husband on the plane was going to be killed,” she said in a statement from her lawyer.

In business travels with foids, and traveling to see family, whenever I was escorted away for additional questioning, the reaction of the foids that were traveling with me was something in the line of "oh, wow, how sad. well anyway......."
