If only... I take some hope in the fact that the fertility rate of religious people in the USA is still above replacement while explicitly nonreligious people have a fertility rate worse than Japan's. Rates of religiosity have already started reversing amongst the youth, so hopefully progress can be made in my lifetime. The next recession will get things back in order.
