IT IS AN ACQUIRED TASTE. So, no, you probably won't like at first. It's something you grow into.

There's so many situation things to learn and so many stats to learn. It gets pretty intricate. There's also 162 games a year so there's 3 hours of your day almost every day from April-September. Add on the preseason and postseason for an extra 2 months of games right there.

I grew  to love baseball (Acquired taste) after forcing myself to watch it. I have a 1.5/10 truecel friend who got into baseball for this very reason: It consumes great loads of time. You can get lost in it every single day.

I'd rather watch a paint dry.

Pitcher takes 25 seconds to pitch, replay goes on for 5 minutes, relievers are swapped in for any slight edge, hitters jerk off before getting to the batter’s box, guy fouls off 7 pitches, it’s SLOW. I like that baseball is timeless but there are too many games and too many moves being made for it to translate well over the air. Fantasy baseball is a better cope. Football probably the best due to action, similarity to war, situational disruption as opposed to perpetual.

Murrican sports have zero appeal to me. No team sport has appeal to me except football. And I only watch football when my national team play or it's a big cup like Euro or World Cup. I don't even care about Champions League.

Pace of play rules are being implemented this year.

Yes but it’s still not enough.

It's kind of the point though. It's nice and time-consuming. The longer a cope lasts, the better.

now sir this is a better cope than religion

Baseball was a great cope for me last season. I agree with you that it's an acquired taste but I think that that the long time between pitches builds suspense. Also looking at the stats like an autist can distract you from being incel for a while.
