I don't like installing christmas attributes in my house or anywhere else, because for me it gets pretty depressing after the holidays are over, having to uninstall or throw away stuff, everything reminds you that the big thing you were looking forward to has already passed you by, with nothing to replace the excitement with, and also no christmas miracle happened, it's like a disappointing withdrawal in a way.
Nowadays I just pretend nothing is happening. Same for b-days of course.
