Ofc, around here, we never fix or kill stray wild cats because of their high value in rat and mouse reducing abilities. Plus, they already have natural predators trying to kill them. (Dogs, both domestic and feral, possums, giant rats, raccoons, etc...)

Especially as a cop. You are one of the few applicants to get accepted, they test you for a clean record and good moral character, and you go through 9 MONTHS of the academy only to be like “you know what would be a good idea? Shooting a cat.”
Say goodbye to your job. Any good reputation you had. And goodbye to your pension that you worked so hard for over something so stupid.
