Rockstars are a strange one, it’s a realm where you can still be pretty unattractive and the association with sex and drugs is just enough to seemingly override the looks selection process. I think music in general is kind of an evolutionary anomaly, Keith Richards, pretty much all the Beatles, Iggy Pop - none of them were attractive, but you truly cannot say make the argument women weren’t genuinely attracted to them.
