i noticed something fishy in my scorecard, alot of the scores i got were similar - from 0-100 i always got 56 which is the bare minimum.
teachers have no right to pass me or to fail me, but they did.
now im not saying this should be a normal thing for a teacher to do, and its obviously weird and fucked up on many levels.

yes its bizarre. you would think that teachers that dabble in accurate sciences would be more logical with their scores.
i remember that my civics teacher liked me, and i always got good grades in civics. very odd
i also got good grades in english until i started to miss class (i never did any homework in english or practiced it). when i missed class the teacher probably sabotaged my grades because she didn't like the fact that i only come on exam day.

another weird anecdote: i used to get bad grades in history class. but suddenly got A+ on a more recent and harder exam. i didn't put any unusual effort in trying to pass that exam.

2. my compsci teacher called me one day and ask me to come so i can complete my GED. i told him that i can't do it since i failed all previous exams, he said - 'don't worry ill bump your grade so you can take the test'. which i thought was very strange and got to me think how he might have hated me the whole time and then regretted it last minute.

At my uni, I'm not allowed to put my name anywhere on the work that I submit, so all our work is graded anonymously. Each student gets a candidate number, and that's what we put down instead of our name...the prof grades it, and then the computer matches the number to a name.

But this doesn't account for the fact that attractive people might get more attention and therefore support from TAs.
