Take comfort in the fact that most of us are probably still young and healthy. My older brother’s friend’s dad just passed away from throat cancer. He was in his 70’s and apparently the cancer had reached his liver and brain during the last few months of his life. He lived in agonizing pain in those last months as the cancer slowly ate away at his vital organs. This is all expected to happen when you get really old.

Every time I feel down about not getting sex or loneliness in general I remember that I’m still healthy at the age of 25. I exercise everyday and I don’t drink or smoke. Take care of yourselves my friends.

I’m well aware of how shit things are and they don’t seem to be getting better. But that’s at a societal standpoint. On an individual standpoint I look at my ideal health as a source of motivation when I’m depressed about life.
