It would be like using the percentage of total crimes that are violent in an area to determine how safe the area is rather than the amount of crimes per capita.

There are many pockets of America where it is majority minority where everything you've just said isn't so bad. You'd be surprised how much better you get treated as an Asian dude in majority Asian, Hispanic, and Black areas. Here in the SF bay area, there are many such places where there aren't as much whites. There are outlying suburb cities in the Peninsula and East bay where there aren't many whites at all. Asian dudes not only get treated better in these areas, they also occasionally date a few hispanic/black foids in these areas.
