After reading this article.

We studied the genealogy records of Korean eunuchs and determined the lifespan of 81 eunuchs. The average lifespan of eunuchs was 70.0 ± 1.76 years, which was 14.4–19.1 years longer than the lifespan of non-castrated men of similar socio-economic status. Our study supports the idea that male sex hormones decrease the lifespan of men

However, there could be confounding factors. Testosterone makes you more likely to engage in risky behavior for instance.

Yes test decreases lifespan. But males are overworked tbh. Foids chill in starbucks and malls all day. Life of leisure

Good. The sooner i die, the better.

based and ballless

This person should probably be castrated regardless of whether they requested it or not.

>living 15-20 years longer as a cuck
You can get the same effect with a mediterranean diet and/or intermittent fasting. Besides, radical life extention is around the corner.

Why would you want to make this terrible life even longer, tho?

Is there some kind of temporary pharmaceutical castration?

JFL at redshills pushing T boost as healthy etc. and I really believed it.:feelstrash:

Serious? I actually do intermittent fasting and I had no idea about that. Please explain.
They would see each other as BFFs so there would be no problem.
So she has to find someone else to fuck because you no longer can?

Why would you want to live a longer life especially as a eunuch? This is why you should escortcel. Bad copes are taking a toll on you.

I begged my doctors to castrate me but they won't.

As far as I know, testosterone is healthy only for muscle mass and bone mass

Anti-balding medication can be considered pharmaceutical castration.

I'd rather rope, or better yet, go ER

Testosterone is the fuel to a man's body.

But just lol @ boosting test more than you need from a good diet.

Ogre mode is failo.

@Fontaine if you through with it you'll become a weak, no energy, simp.

In general fasting/calorie restriction-induced autophagy extends organism's longevity and quality of life in later stages. Btw, the 2016 nobel price in medicine was basically awarded for the discovery of the mechanism behind it.

@Fontaine combine this with your original plan and you have a chance to make it to the singularity!

upload my brain to a computer
How do you actually plan on doing that, without it being just a copy. Outside the somewhat outlandish moravec prosedure, I can't really think of even a theoretical way of achieving this. Biological immortality would be a better bet.

This must be a joke?

Converting yourself to something that is more female is not the answer, rather that is simply regressing into something inferior.

Oh come on, you're a smart dude. How can you be so optimistic about the future? Life extensions, as with all future technology and scientific advancements, will most likely be a huge disappointment just like anything in the past has been. Very rich people might get to live much longer, sure, but those are extreme cases.

Although cutting your balls off is dumb. Maybe there's a pill equivalent or something that will have the same effect.

I already do calorie restriction... I've eaten less than 1000 kcal / day for the last ten years, first due to depression, then voluntarily. I also exercise regularly, don't smoke, don't drink, and have a varied diet. I take collagen supplements for joint health, taurine for heart health, resveratrol and Metformin. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Moravec transfer. It's not outlandish by any means.

Ok, Patrick Bateman.

I've considered many ways to destroy my sexuality, but none of them have worked or are supposed to work. If you get your balls cut off you'll produce less testosterone, but (as I understand it) you'll still be horny. Even castrati still fucked girls.

If there was a way to rid myself of all desire, I'd do it. I've always wanted to be asexual.

Damn, you do a lot of work! I'm so goddamn depressed and lazy I can rarely force myself to do a bicep curl.

I'm not really optimistic, just observing the technological development.
The thing is that the tech is simple and available to plebs. My medical student friend's lab bought a CRISPR cas9 kit for 8,000$ pocket money. Add some other equipment and you'd be able to have a DIY retroviral gene modification lab to cure subhumanism and do life extention work for dimes

Maybe there's a pill equivalent or something that will have the same effect.

Wow. You really are trying to give yourself the best shot you can to make it then. Do you look young for your age? I used to use a load of shit on my face as well but I realised it just makes your skin dependent on it, like if you overuse lip balm it makes your lips more prone to chapping in the long run. I started the book you recommended by the way and I have to admit, it’s pretty seductive and I certainly see the appeal. The only thing that worries me is the possibility that we don’t know enough about the nature of consciousness to assert that we can be digitally uploaded to a machine in the capacity Kurzweil is suggesting.

You can't possibly be alive at that count for that time.

Considering the state and physical limitations of the various types of brain imaging and the borderline non-existent state of nanotechnology, I wouldn't hold my breath about it becoming real any time within the next 100 years.

He is quoting "American Psycho", which I think is adequate because most of the people here are obsessed with material things. Except unlike Patrick Bateman they don't have or even try to obtain these things.

Ok, Patrick Bateman.
Haha, exactly what I was thinking.

Oh fuck he was literally quoting it? I genuinely feel stupid now, haha. I thought the quote was very Batemanlike but didn’t realise it was literally his quote.

I've trolled you a bit for the skincare routine (this is an excerpt from the excellent movie American Psycho); but the rest is true. I don't actually use any skincare product except water. The most important thing to look nice is getting enough sleep and avoiding the sun.

Yes, I do look younger than my age. People tell me this often.

I'm glad you have started to read Kurzweil. Hopefully, you'll become one the first recruits of the cult I intend to create.
You can't possibly be alive at that count for that time.
> never any breakfast (so we're already speaking about a fasting period of 14 hours every day)
> light meal at noon
> light meal in evening, sometimes no meal at all
> just enough to not feel horribly hungry

That for 10 years with a few exceptions, and I'm still alive in great health. Consider that Holocaust victims in concentration camps were doing hard physical work on 800 kcal/day and a lot managed to survive. When you do almost no physical exertion, you don't need 2000 kcal/day or similar bullshit (((recommended daily nutrient intake))) pushed on you by governments.
Considering the state and physical limitations of the various types of brain imaging and the borderline non-existent state of nanotechnology, I wouldn't hold my breath about it becoming real any time within the next 100 years.
Yeah I actually agree. I don't expect mind upload stuff to be viable before we're all dead. Cryonics is my backup plan, but I don't believe too much in it either.

Yes I’ve realised that now, you bastard. Haha, I’m wondering what makes you so eager to prolong your life for so long if you believe you have very little chance to make it. One of the things that makes me believe that I lack the motivation to alter my life so meticulously is that I’m just not that scared of death or being dead. I’m quite content with the idea of returning to nothing. Do you have a profound case of thanatophobia that you feel has spurned you on to maximising your chances of reaching the singularity?

were doing hard physical work on 800 kcal/day
...for 2-3 years at most. The 2000cal daily intake is obviously bullshit, but you'd still need a good 1,300-1,500 kcal (depending on size) to actualy live and maintain functionality as an able-bodied male. I used to do ~1,800 a day (given that I'm a big guy) for ~6 months with no exercise whatsoever and I was losing ~1 lb/week. With 1,000, you'd have to literally perform no physical actions whatsoever or be ~100lb

I don't expect mind upload stuff to be viable before we're all dead.
As I said, retroviral gene modification would effectively bring cheap and maintainable longevity and a cure for subhumanism within the next 50 years at most. The only obstacle at this point are moralfags.

How would you even go about that? No surgeon is going to castrate you without a medical reason, unless you probably go to some shady clinic in Thailand.

No, you are not seriously considering this. You are quite casually just talking about considering this at least in part to just get some stimulation from people's reactions to it. Which is fine, just not honest is all.

>living 15-20 years longer as a cuck
Besides, radical life extention is around the corner.

Cope, we can't even cure hairloss, Kurzweil and co are just wishful thinking, predicting radical life extension soon because they wabt it to be true as they are afraid of death.

Makes no sense. I thought about chemical castration for a long while actually in the past. You can just inject yourself with progesterone or take cyproterone/flutamide and it will do the same thing while being completely reversible.

To reach LEV (longevity escape velocity) and then upload my brain to a computer.

Im afraid were nowhere near that point, even if you could extend your life by a full century by cutting your balls off it wouldnt be enough

LEV is at least 500 years away

@OP I know your larping but cutting your balls off isn't worth the decreased brain acuity.
>living 15-20 years longer as a cuck

mediterranean diet is good as long as your not falling for the pasta trap. high fat, low carb diet with lots of fish is the healthiest thing possible. although should probably only eat fish low in mercury. intermittent fasting is a meme that needs to die. doing extended water fasts semi-regularly is far healthier. human body was designed to go long periods without food.

This is soy cuckery tbh fits the title prefix

Ok, Patrick Bateman.
:lul::lul::lul:

Honestly I used to consider this eventuality some times ago op. But what would be the point in living longer with less sensations of life and less will to live in the end ? Even if T makes you take more risks, you still have a functionning brain. Only low IQ men die young because of their T influencce. And sex is an ambiguous source of sufferings, bliss and pleasure. Even fapping to low quality hentai is better than feeling absolutely nothing until your death. I don't think cutting everything off will have a positive general outcome in the end.

intermittent fasting is a meme
It literally isn't.
