During the second year at university out of luck i entered in a small circle of normie males. When i made some slightly edgy joke they showed their true nature. It's honestly exhausting. Every time you try to speak your mind, it's as if you're walking through a minefield. People specifically wait for you to slip up—to make even the slightest mistake so they can justify hating you—meanwhile chad can say whatever is on his mind and it'll be seen as acceptable and good.

That is most certainly the case. Look at the movie industry, comedians, etc. There is a distinct lack of ugly men. And those who are ugly are often used for butt of the joke purposes.
