I know as a first or second generation immigrant, it's difficult to admit that multiculturalism sucks ass. you're probably anxious not to stoke nationalist fervor. i understand all of that. when i was young, I grew up in the West as an ethnic ricecel and i know how that feels.
but jesus man, look at how Paris looked in 1920s. New York in 1940s. London in 1960s.
so much class and elegance. people were generally fit and happy, full of vibrancy and trusting of one another.
there was also something distinctive about its people and culture. had different flavors from other asian or muslim cities.
this was the high point of Western civilization, before 'muh globalization' and 'muh opposing immigration is racist' nonsense took over
all the multicultural cities in the West look and smell like shit now. it's actually pretty depressing.
