Although, I'm not a big fan of articles because they tend to be very subjective and biased, this particural one seems to correspond quite adequately to reality.

This makes sense from a biological perspective. Women, will get pregnant once they have sex so they have to be be rather picky with the guy they choose to fuck. Men, on the other hand, can spread their seed multiple times in the same day so they don't really have much to lose from sex.
