Nihilism is basically utter absence of meaning and futility of human existence. This is basically LDARmaxxing.

Absurdism is very similar to existentialism in the sense it rejects objective or inherent meaning to life and emphasizes subjective experience, but (imo) it has deterministic, "ego death" and postmodernist aspects to it, like rejection of 'selfhood', libertarian free will and any tangible identity.

I for one am a nihilist. As for smoothbrains who say "if you're truly a nihilist, why don't you just kill or yourself" or "why do you look both ways before crossing the road", well, I rationally embrace nihilism but I'm still plagued by innate irrational drives like the animalistic "will to survive" and the humanistic "will to live", so I preserve myself for the sole reason of reducing my physical and mental suffering.

Tbh i go through all three phases depending on what my mood is. Somedays when I'm happy i think about doing something meaningful and other days i just want to sleep all day
