Good post! Most violent crime is gangs enforcing monopoly territories for things that were criminalized that should never have been. They create profit margin in the drugs by establishing monopoly territories where only their gang is allowed to sell the drugs(at a huge mark-up). Of course other gangs are always trying to expand their own territories into areas currently held by other gangs, and that is what the killings are about.. but suspiciously never explained on tv that this is what is happening.

I’m all for defunding cops if it will only hinder their ability to coerce and extort vs serve and protect. Coercion for retarded shit being like 90% of their job. Also the vast majority of laws should be repealed because you cannot justify killing people who break those laws. Also I think there should be a lot less patrolling cops, maybe none at all, and cops should only show up when summoned I.e. when an interaction with them is volunteered I.e. when somebody is in need of the violent power of the state. There isn’t much that the cops protect you from that you couldn’t protect yourself from with a gun. I think their role should be god tier investigation, so as to develop a reputation for high investigative competence, which will create a credible threat of guaranteed future violence, in order to deter crime (doubtful if this will work on nogs/people with low delayed gratification). That’s really the only way they can prevent crime. Cops can’t threaten present violence because they can’t be everywhere with their guns all the time. So they are coercion, they are inherently evil, but they are necessary evil IMO and their capability of violence shouldnt be used for every single little thing.
