Yeah it's deliberately done to try and keep you away from searching for more neutral or positive takes of that content. Youtube started off doing it to alt-right channels to combat "radicalization" and then branched out to incels and the manosphere.

PUA and lifestyle advice scamming videos are still up and positive takes on them can easily be found on the frontpage when you search those subjects unsurprisingly.

I used to really like Turd Flinging Monkey when he was on Youtube. He was MGTOW but a blackpill version of it. He's on Bitchute now after Youtube purged most MGTOW channels a couple years back. He reuploaded most of his old content there, including most of his "TFM 420" show where he would cover the latest clown world news stories about absurd woke feminist and metoo bullshit. That shit was good.
