I think the level 2 - 3s would heavily skew those numbers. What is the unemployment rate for level 1s? 80% of autists being unemployed seems kinda hard to believe, especially with how many fakers there are who can act pretty damn normal socially.

Normies can sense that something is off with us, no matter how mild the autism is. Nowadays just being a normie is more valued than education in the job market. HR is looking for good looking people who are extroverted, have normal hobbies, live a normal life, use social media, have never been unemployed previously for prolonged period, have completed education and are good to lie about their superiority. I think there needs to be made a distinction. NEETs among level 1s (high functioning aka asperger)? Still much higher than average but not 80%. Pure speculation on my part but I would guess 40-50%. Guys working shitty dead-end jobs with no career living month to month? Likely extremely high.
What hinders us from success is obviously networking aka being social. 70% of jobs are internal, never to be listed publicly. The best way to get any job is unironically to know someone. Who do we know? I don't know anyone. There you have it. Career is already over.
