In my uni (and I assume in all unis) all they do is print soyboyish and woke propaganda posters, organize boring events always with that woke and political feeling to it and in general being ignored by 95% of the campus kek. It feels like the "wannabe politicians club" except politicans actually have power to change things, the student union has never achieved anything significant for students and each time the administriation fucks up university the union washes its hands and says "well that's too bad but we can't do anything about it except a peaceful protest" 
Also why the fuck do students need a union, being a student is not a job so the existence of student unions is already stupid. I'd rather spend the student's union budget in something more productive like more interesting lectures (not just reading powerpoint slides), better food options on campus or more parking places.
