Germany without cheap gas is over economically, I have heard about Germany being very backwards in terms of digitalisation and modernising infrastructure.

I honestly forsee a UBI style system being implemented where you get allotted a certain amount of resources but you have to have implants to access any of it as it will be all digital and tracked. There will be no other way for society to function as jobs dry up and living a self reliant lifestyle becomes impossible.
